The Peacock obsession continues...

Tonight we photographed peacock feathers in the evening light coming through our front door.

When I say "we", I did get a little help from Mr Tara since he is a bit of a camera genius.  I was in charge of artistic direction and drops of water (not all of which landed where they should).  It's crazy how much fun we had doing this.  At the end I was so taken with the results I thought I would share them here, on my little window to the world...

I like how the droplet of water magnifies the colours...

They look quite lovely on my woollen Gujarati shawl from India...

Then it all got a bit psychedelic, I have trouble finding the "off" switch when it comes to colour...

Oh there we go, I found the "off" switch...
My palm henna - one of my favourite designs at the moment.  I thought this pic would go nicely in my henna portfolio...
Hope your weekend is coming along nicely.

  1. Hi!! I have finally caught on to your blogspot!!! Loving all these peacock pics, I too am a photography lover and can get obsessed, thanks for inspiring me to get my camera out and get clicking ( I spend too much time on IG these days, the convenience of the camera on the phone is just too easy!) <3 Lots of Love, Allison "Butterfly Temple" xxxx
